Uje oil bar and Pikulece snack bar have become inevitable stops in Split
for gastro tourists and those who are yet to become ones.
Oil bar is more than a restaurant. We offer an extremely rich selection of olive oils,
and our staff is well educated for the presentation of olive oils and wines as well.
Our offer is based on the traditional Dalmatian cuisine, presented in a modern way

Introduction to the basics of olive oil production and the ways of recognizing the olive oil quality. Tasting of four
different types of olive oil, pairing with the fleur de sel, aceto balsamico and homemade bread from our oven,
with a green olive paste.

WINE TASTING

Presentation of the basic Croatian wine varieties and tasting of white and red wine. Pairing with the fleur de sel,
aceto balsamico and homemade bread from our oven, with marinated anchovies,
mixed cheese and cow cheese with the fig jam.

OIL & WINE

Introduction to the ways of recognizing the olive oil quality and presentation of the basic Croatian wine varieties.
Tasting of two different types of olive oil, from Dalmatia and Istria and tasting of white and red wine.
Pairing with the fleur de sel, aceto balsamico and homemade bread from our oven,
with marinated anchovies, green olive paste, mixed cheese and cow cheese with the fig jam.

CHEESE & WINE

Pairing of three types of Dalmatian cheese (locally made cottage cheese, cow milk cheese, goat milk cheese)
with three varieties of Croatian wines. Pairing with three varieties of olive oil, aceto balsamico, homemade
wine vinegar with the homemade bread from our oven.

PIKULECAVANJE

Preparing and tasting of three Pikulecas ( seasonal bruschetta, white fish marinade, anchovies
and honey dipped cottage cheese), pairing with olive oil and wine.

SOMMELIER

Guided tasting of five most important Croatian wine varieties (premium brands). Cheese tasting
with homemade bread from our oven.

DALMATIAN PIKULECE (CHEF’s TABLE)

Tasting of five Pikulecas, pairing with two glasses of wine with water, with homemade bread from our oven.
For groups up to 10 people, preparation is done in front of the guests at the bar.

BLIND DATE WITH OLIVE OIL

Introduction to the basics of olive oil production and the ways of recognizing the olive oil quality. Tasting of four
different types of olive oil ( three of which are flavoured), and competition in olive oil recognition. The winner
of the group gets a small bottle of olive oil as a gift.

BLIND DATE WITH WINE

Introduction to the basic Croatian wine varieties and the competition in wine recognition, between two white
and two red wines. Tasting of olives and various cheeses.

BLIND DATE WITH RAKIJA

Introduction to the ways of producing Croatian spirited drink rakija, the competition in recognizing three different
rakija flavours, along the tasting of traditional fig cakes.

QUICKIES

PIT STOP

A brief stop at our restaurant and tasting of rakija from a wide selection of rakija varieties.
Best for bigger groups.

ENERGIZING STOP

A brief stop at our restaurant and tasting of three Dalmatian power snacks: fig cake, chocolate with oranges
and chocolate with carob and almond. Best for bigger groups.
