Our trip will last approximately one hour and covers the entire city center of Trogir, the center being acknowledged and put into a UNESCO World Heritage site list. Whilst you are enjoying the nice walking tour you will not only see gorgeous monuments, but also hear some interesting folklore legends. The price doesn’t include entry tickets to the various churches and museums, however you can still buy the tickets on the spot and our guide will assist you inside of each and every single monuments you decide to visit and explore.
Trogir is a picturesque town arranged with parks where every stone is a monument and its coast is surrounded from all sides by the sea.
The cathedral of St. Lovre with the famous Portal of Radovan is a church where we can find styles from the Romanic to the Baroque and numerous artists left their traces behind in it. The art collection of the cathedral protects the most worthy culture and art heritage of the town Trogir. It is located on the main square that is the same as in the time of the antique founding of the city.
The cathedral is beside the town hall, court, the town tower and one of the most beautiful palaces – Cipiko.

About town of Trogir
Trogir is one the historic towns and harbours in the country of Croatia on the Adriatic coast in Split-Dalmatia County. The town having around 10,818 citizens (2011. count). A small island being the place it is situated on, between the mainland of Croatia and the island of Čiovo.
Tourism is also Trogirs largest methods of income, making up even 50% of the municipal budget with well over 20,000 beds in hotels and private accommodations. It is one of the fastest growing ports for sail-tourism as well, boasting two yacht marinas. Those that enjoy fishing will also find it a great fishing area as the town has a strong fishing and agricultural tradition in surrounding areas.
One of the interesting things about the town is that it is even included as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. for it’s beautiful Venetian architecture. The town is only one of many that are bustling with life and filled with historical information that is just waiting to be uncovered.
Kamerlengo Castle
This historic castle/fortress is located on the Southwest edge of town Trogir. The oldest part of said fortress is the polygonal tower that originated from the fourteenth century, but the walls gain it’s reputable shape nowadays from the arrival of Venetian government. The building of the fortress was consulted by the state engineer “Lorenzo Picino”, but the execution was entrusted to protomagistar “Marin Radoj”. An interesting thing about the fortress is that it served as accommodation for the Venetian military crew.
