Tour description:
The Southern Cliffs Kayaking tour is made for those who want to experience a true kayaking adventure. You will escape the busy town center of Split and spend a day far from tourist routes.
We will start kayaking from our base on the north side of Marjan hill and paddle around its shores covered with pine trees while listening the sound of crickets. After passing next to the Institute of Oceanography we will cross the channel to beautiful Ciovo Island and explore its impressive southern cliffs that are stretching for 3 kilometers. On the route, we will see „Our Lady of Prizidnica“, a secluded sanctuary built in 1546. The sanctuary was built within a beautiful natural environment on the south side of the island, on a cliff by the sea.
The highlight of the tour is a magical pristine beach hidden under a cliff and reachable from the seaside only. Here we’ll have a light lunch break (snack) and an opportunity to snorkel in crystal clear sea or go for deep water soloing on the rocks just a few meters away from the beach.
On the way back, you’ll have a chance to try cliff jumping from one of the Ciovo island southern cliffs. Without a doubt, this will be a memorable kayaking adventure!
What to take:
Bring a swimsuit, a hat for sun protection, a T-shirt, sunscreen, towel and spear clothes (if the weather is chilly) while we will take care of everything else!

About Split:
Croatia has several beautiful towns in it’s territory, Split being one such town. The coastal town garnering quite a surge of popularity thanks to the TV show, Game of Thrones being filmed inside the Diocletian Palace. The so called palace being one of Split‘s most popular attractions, along with the bountiful beaches surrounding the coastline.
Split is famous for it’s historic architecture, sure, but that is not the only thing worth while seeing. Experience one of several beautiful beaches that litter the coast line of this town, anything from sand beaches to stone/pebble beaches, Split has them all!
