Brač is Croatia’s largest island, but it is also home to the famous Golden Horn Beach. The island being a famous gathering spot during Summer time because of the numerous beaches that surround it, most notable being, well, Golden Horn.
Island Brač has a northern coastal bay called Lovrečina bay. It’s a wonderful sand covered beach that’s one of a kind on the entire island.
It’s safe to say that the bay is famous solely for the beach. The sandy strip offering children and sport enthusiasts a chance to play in the shallow waters. A famous archeological site, St. Lawrence basilica from the 5th and 6th century, is only five minutes away. Animal lovers can also enjoy Lovrečina for its donkey farm, home to these tame indigenous Dalmatian animals. There is a cafe and a restaurant on the beach, offering traditional dishes like fish, lamb and home- made olive oil.

About Brač
Whilst most people would be scratching their heads as to what they can find on this beautiful island, they would surely be surprised by the treasure it holds.
